RE: (New) Honda 2000 genset issues

Well ran the gen. for about 2 hours again today, problem still exists. I had a neighbor come over he was dumbfounded as well. Bought fresh fuel will give that a shot when i get to the high country in the a.m.. As stated before, the choke set midway smooths things out especially on high output, still stumbels some on eco setting. I will only use the gen if needed for backup while on this trip. then will thke er in. Anyone know if it will harn the unit with the choke set at middle?
Thanks again & Safe Travels

(New) Honda 2000 genset issues

Hello all, my new genset began running very rough. I checked fuel, oil and spark plug, all ok. Approx. 2 weeks ago I ran for about 1 hour alone and under lite load, using both high and low load settings, all went well. Note, I discovered that if i set the choke midway it would run much better but, not quite right?? Any help greatly appreciated. I'm trying to avoid a 130 mile round trip and I,m going on 4 day boondocking trip in 1 day

RE: Small trailer question - Do you take turns?

I to sleep on the outside, first line of defense.Screen door closed, main door always open during summer months. (99% boondocking) That's the way I've always done it.

RE: Poor battery life on brand-new RV

Hello Kevin,
Glad to hear your dialed into your battery issue. I'm also a new member and recently purchased first travel trailer. Thankfully no issue to date. However, I to will be doing nearly all dry camping, I'm interested in switching from the light bulbs that came with my trailer to more efficiant light bulbs. Can you share the type or model # of the bulbs you have? I also change the original battery set up to two trojan 105.
This fourm is great.
Thanks to all.

RE: Eco travel trailers

Hello to all, first I'd like to thank all of the members here for all the great info. they provide. I have been viewing ALL topics on this forum for mny months, as a new member I look forword to participating. In reponse to the Eco question, we recently purchased our first ever(1-25-08)the Eco 18' front queen. It is a small trailer but appears well built, fit & finish good as opposed to others we considered. (Time will tell) At this time we have not camped with it, but drove home 70 miles from deslership, trailered great. Front queen has plenty of room for wife & I me 6'1" 240lbs wife tall 5'9" no weigth given. Ther is room for the grandbabies so we look forwrd to many happy travels. Again thanks for all the great info.
